I-  Job Summary:

The Pre-Sales Engineer enhances sales productivity and facilitates deal closure by achieving the "technical close" in solutions. They support the sales team through expert technical guidance, demonstrations, and solution presentations to prospective customers. Their proficiency in comprehending customer requirements and devising customized solutions is pivotal in achieving successful pre-sales engagements.

Pre-Sales Engineers play a crucial role in instilling customer confidence, resolving technical queries, and securing sales opportunities. They collaborate closely with Technology Vendors, Sales, Business Development (BD), and SOC service delivery teams to ensure that proposed solutions accurately meet customer need sand gain endorsement from key technical decision-makers.

 

II- Duties & Responsibilities:

·  Represent Shelt and support the Sales and BD team by providing subject matter and participating as a technical resource at meetings, conference calls, seminars and events with customers educating them, explaining features, offering technical briefings, responding to technical questions, providing product demonstrations ... etc.

·  Achieve sales by helping Business Development:

o  Strategize and present solutions to customers

o  Understand new technology adoption and positioning

o  Help the department engage new clients on specific solutions adopted.

·  Technical solutions sell into existing key accounts and support sales team to generate & cultivate new leads to ensure a continuous pipeline of prospects.

·  Responsible for working with Sales and BD team to qualify sales leads from a technical standpoint, design solution, develop customer proposals and business cases in alignment with customers' business requirements.

·  Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs and RFPs.

·  Provides coaching and professional development to sales associates to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills.

·  Deliver presentations and product demonstrations at customer and partner meetings and other field events such as conferences, webinars, seminars, etc.

·  Engage with the customer to plan, design and executeProof of Value & Concepts and drive user adoption through sample use-cases and analytic demos.

·  Coordinate the transition between pre-sales specifications and implementation once contracts have been awarded, design and prepare all technical paperwork to provisioning the service delivery team.

·  Identify, evaluate and recommend new solutions and technologies through trade fairs, monitoring competition, researching industry trends, players and market needs.

 

III- Skills andQualifications:

 

·  Degree inComputer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

·  Prior experiencein presales 1-2 years.

·  Fluent inEnglish, Arabic and Preferably French (speaking, reading, writing).

·  Possess strongproblem-solving and prioritization skills.

·  Strongpresentation skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills andare adept at working with multiple stakeholders.

·  TechnicalKnowledge of IT Security components/deployments/features such as SIEM, EDR,NDR, IAM, NGFW and other related technologies etc…).
